Purchase Document Checklist
Documents required when buying a new home.
Recent Employment Letter
Obtained from your HR department or supervisor. Must be on company letterhead, signed, and dated within 30 days.
Last 2 Year T4's
Supplied by your employer, usually available in January or February for the previous year.
Most Recent Paystub
Provide your most recent full statement showing full hours. For RCMP, this can be downloaded from Phoenix.
90 Days of Bank Statements
Download PDF versions from your online banking. Must clearly show your name, account number, and the full history of funds for your down payment.
Proof of RRSP/TFSA holdings
If using these for your down payment, provide the most recent monthly statement from your financial institution.
Gift Letter
Only needed if any portion of your down payment is a gift from family, I will provide a specific template for them to sign.
Valid Photo ID
Clear photo or scan of your valid Driver's License (front and back) or Passport
